Green Eggs and Ham
Simon and I have been reading to Preston for the past week and his favorite book by far is Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. We get such a reaction from him after we read it~! He kicks and kicks. The other books don't get anything. And we switch it up too, sometimes we read Green Eggs first, and sometimes last, but he always seem to be able to pick it out and kick. I think because it's easier to do funny voices and impressions for that book, and so maybe that's why he's so interested. Such a weird thing. Didn't know that babies really could be stimulated, but either way, we're reading and playing classical music to him whenever we can. My cousin's uncle in Washington sent me a few compilations of classical music just for babies, one is for stimulating the brain waves and one is for cultivating personality....I don't know if those really work as they claim, but it's something~!
Preston had a regular 4 week check up yesterday and all was fine. His heartbeat was loud and strong and all the genetic tests came back negative. Such a relief to hear~!
Some belly pix to come in the near future~! He's getting obvious =P
